What does Topic Snack do?
Topic Snack delivers the Canadian Business News you want. You'll read all the news important to you in 10 minutes or less. As you use the site, more interesting articles will appear.
How does Topic Snack work?
Topic Snack collects keywords from the articles you select, matches them to new articles and assigns a rank. Articles that have a negative rank (e.g. -1), are not displayed, whereas those with a higher score appear. If an article has no keywords, it typically will diplay as its assigned score is close to zero.
What news sources does it draw from?
Currently, the site focuses on Canadian Business News and uses The Globe and Mail, National Post, Toronto Star and Wall Street Journal (Page 1 only) as sources. These may change over time.
What information does Topic Snack retain?
We don't want or collect your personal information. Only your email, password and keyword information are stored. We also track you keyword preferences; however, they contain no information specifically about you.
Who created Topic Snack?
Andrew Andreoli. A Toronto software consultant who couldn't find a service that worked well for him. Hence this pursuit!
